To install:

1. Install the engine oil pressure switch, and tighten the switch to 12 ft. lbs. (16 Nm).
2. Install the electrical connector to the engine oil pressure switch.
3. Install the oil pressure sensor heat shield bolts and shield if required. Tighten bolts to 89 inch. lbs. (10 Nm).

4. Connect the battery negative cable to the battery.

3.9L Engine
1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
2. Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery.
3. Remove the oil pressure sensor heat shield bolts and shield if required.
4. Remove the electrical connector from the engine oil pressure sensor.
5. Remove the engine oil pressure switch.

Oil pressure sensor removal

To install:

1. Install the engine oil pressure switch, and tighten the switch to 12 ft. lbs. (16 2. Nm).
2. Install the electrical connector to the engine oil pressure switch.
3. Install the oil pressure sensor heat shield bolts and shield if required. Tighten 4. bolts to 89 inch. lbs. (10 Nm).
5. Connect the battery negative cable to the battery.
